Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies showed their class once again with a dominant 4–0 win over TUT Matsatsantsa, continuing their strong run in the Hollywoodbets Super League in a Sunday fixture, in Week 14 of the Hollywoodbets Super League, on Saturday, 24 May, and Sunday, 25 May, 2025.

Lesotho international Boitumelo Rabale was the star of the show, netting a brace to take her season tally to seven goals from 11 games, widening the gap at the top of the Golden Boot race.

The University of Johannesburg returned to winning ways with a confident 2–0 victory over the University of Pretoria, bouncing back from last week’s lacklustre performance against the University of the Western Cape.

Ayesha Moosa opened the scoring just before halftime, while substitute Portia Masilela added a second in the 63rd minute, giving coach Nthabeleng Modiko a solid response from her side.

Banyana Banyana coach Dr Desiree Ellis has named a strong squad for next month’s friendly…

TS Galaxy Queens moved up to second on the log following a comprehensive 3–1 win over Ezemvelo Women’s FC. A brace from veteran Leandra Smeda and a goal from Nicole Michael, who continues to put pressure on Rabale in the top scorer charts, sealed the deal.

With just one loss, two draws and a growing collection of wins, coach Sizwe Sibiya has plenty to be proud of.

All eyes will now turn to next weekend’s blockbuster as log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies host second-placed TS Galaxy in what promises to be a thrilling top-of-the-table clash.

Elsewhere, First Touch FC Ladies and the University of Fort Hare shared the spoils in a 1–1 draw, while UCT FC and Royal AM played to a goalless stalemate.

The weekend of braces continued as Robyn Moodaly fired JVW to a 4–1 win over Durban Ladies FC, scoring in the 18th minute and again at the death to secure all three points. JVW will host UCT on Saturday, 31 May.

There was a four-goal thriller at Merino Park Stadium, with Richmond United and City Lads playing to an entertaining 2–2 draw.

At the UWC Stadium, the University of the Western Cape’s frustrating season continued with a narrow 1–0 loss to Copperbelt Ladies FC. UWC will next face AmaTuks in a clash between two sides looking to find consistency.
