Among the women there were two double individual gold medallists, with both Prudence Sekgodiso (800m, 1500m) and Colette Uys (shot put and discus) winning two titles, while Jovial Mbisha won the 100m and bagged a 4x100m gold and Zeney Geldenhuys earned two for the 400m hurdles and 4x400m.
