Tintswalo Collection will unveil its latest property, Tintswalo Scops Rest, in the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve this September.

This marks the luxury brand’s continued expansion across SA’s top wilderness destinations.

Scops Rest will offer an exclusive-use experience for groups of up to eight, ideal for families or close-knit gatherings seeking privacy in the bush.

The four-bedroom villa—named after the Scops Owl, a regular in the area—includes the full-time services of a private chef and butler, and two daily game drives in a private vehicle.

Guests will also enjoy spacious living areas, a generous patio, and a private pool overlooking the surrounding wilderness.

For something extra special, the lodge offers two bookable treehouse sleep-out experiences—one overlooking a dam, and the other tucked away in forest—a rare opportunity for visitors to get even closer to nature.

Located within a 60,000-hectare Big 5 reserve, Klaserie shares unfenced borders with the Kruger National Park and forms part of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Conservation Area.

It’s a region known for its commitment to conservation, biodiversity, and sustainable tourism, and one of the country’s most celebrated private reserves.

Scops Rest joins a portfolio of award-winning Tintswalo properties, including the famed Tintswalo Atlantic in Cape Town, beachside Tintswalo Boulders overlooking African penguins, and a selection of safari retreats in the Manyeleti and Welgevonden reserves.

The brand also recently expanded into Zambia, offering island stays on the Zambezi River.
