On a personal note, tonight’s conquest at Roland Garros now sees Montjane add a third Grand Slam title to her list of achievements.

2023 was one of Montjane’s most successful years of her wheelchair tennis career as she not only captured the French Open doubles title but also the US Open with her Japanese partner Kamiji, and together, the two have now become a  in the game.

Earlier in the day, Montjane’s success in the singles competition came to an end as she fell to Dutch player Aniek van de Koot in the semi-final. Despite her exit, she can be proud of the fact that she made her fourth semi-final in the wheelchair tennis singles event.
