    Team SA in Namibia: How they fared on Friday

    Team SA were approaching 130 medals with two days of the Region 5 Games remaining in Namibia, with the netballers retaining their gold medal from 2022 with a hard-fought win over Malawi in Windhoek. On Saturday the boys footballers also get a chance to go for gold.

    BASKETBALL

    Group phase (girls): Team SA lost to Angola 73-29

    FOOTBALL

    Boys semi-final: Team SA beat Angola 2-0 and play in the final

    Girls  semi-final: Team SA won their match 1-0 and are through to the final

    VOLLEYBALL

    Boys semi-final: Team SA beat Malawi 3-2 (24-26, 24-26, 25-20, 25-19, 15-11)
