What she thought would be a fashion highlight quickly turned into the beginning of her forever story.
Kennedy got down on one knee, presented a sparkling ring, and asked the most beautiful question—and of course, Anwuli said yes! But the surprises didn’t stop there. Earlier this year, I was invited to be
@desireeiyamaofficial’s Muse of the Week. The timing didn’t align then, but in September the opportunity came back, this time with an “Intimate Muse Dinner” after the shoot. I had the best time at the shoot on Saturday, the DI team was simply amazing. Afterwards, we headed to what I thought was just the dinner. I walked in expecting fashion, and instead walked right into the most beautiful moment of my life. My love, my best friend, my home…waiting there with the most thoughtful, intentional, and loving surprise. He had worked with my friends, family and the DI team to turn what I thought was a fashion highlight into our forever story. I was reminded of just how deeply seen and loved I am by this man. His heart, his intentionality, his ability to make me feel cherished in the smallest and grandest ways, there’s no one like him. I’m so grateful to walk through life with someone who not only loves me, but honours me with every action and every word. Only he could plan something this seamless, this magical, and this “me”. In that instant, my world stood still… and I said the easiest YES of my life to forever with the most amazing man.
