TWO OF AFRICA’S BRIGHTEST VOICES UNITE FOR ONE IRRESISTIBLE RECORD

Today, viral hitmaker MOLIY returns with her new single “Body Go” with Grammy-winning global superstar Tyla, available now on all streaming platforms. The collaboration between two of Africa’s brightest stars delivers an effortless fusion of R&B, Pop, Amapiano and Afrobeats, creating a global dance anthem with an undeniable groove.

“Body Go” with Tyla follows the massive success of MOLIY’s record-breaking, chart-topping track “Shake It To The Max – FLY [Remix],” which surpassed 1 Billion streams and was named one of the 2025 Songs of the Summer from both Spotify and TikTok.

Fans of each other’s artistry, Ghanaian-American MOLIY and South African Tyla came together with a shared vision, showcasing their electrifying chemistry and creating an empowering anthem for the ultimate night out. The two global sensations continue to make waves in the mainstream, furthering the global reach of African music worldwide.

The collaboration almost didn’t feel real at first. After MOLIY sent Tyla the track, Tyla was immediately drawn to it, laying down her verse before the two even met in person. They first met in New York City, where they connected instantly.

“When I was done recording the song, I just knew it needed another baddie, so I sent Tyla the record hoping she’d feel it,” says MOLIY. “When she sent back her verse, it was perfect. The first time we met, it didn’t even feel like the first time. We laughed the whole time, and she even surprised me with flowers for my birthday. She’s such a girl’s girl! That’s when I knew this song captured the right energy needed for a girls’ night out, and I’m so excited to release it.”

“Body Go” captures the essence of a night out, celebrating the freedom to dance, whine, and have a good time. Produced by French producer FRNCH and Grammy-winning producer DEE/MA, the track blends pulsating rhythms with smooth melodies and infectious hooks.

MOLIY is no stranger to virality, having co-helmed “Sad Girlz Luv Money” with Amaarae, and the subsequent remix with Kali Uchis in 2021. Recent collaborations include features on the remix of “The Greatest Bend Over (Take It Easy)” by Yung Bredda with Chlöe Bailey, as well as Sadboi’s track, “Johnny.” Over the past year, MOLIY has performed her breakout hit “Shake It To The Max – FLY [Remix]” at music events across the globe, making her the first Ghanaian musician to perform at the BET Awards. The song was nominated for Best Afrobeats and Song of the Summer at the 2025 MTV VMAs, and has earned MOLIY No. 1 spots on Billboard’s Rhythmic Airplay chart and U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart.

    About MOLIY

MOLIY’s hit single “Shake It To The Max” has become a worldwide sensation, blending vibrant Afropop with a global sonic palette. A viral TikTok phenomenon propelled the song into the mainstream, and the remix featuring Skillibeng and Shenseea only amplified its cultural footprint, racking up over a Billion streams and holding the top spot on the Global Shazam chart and numerous Apple Music charts. In America, “Shake It To The Max – FLY” (Remix) spent a remarkable 22 consecutive weeks at Number 1 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart. The track was also named one of Spotify’s Top 5 Songs of the Summer, and TikTok included it in their Songs of the Summer 2025 list as one of the top 10 songs globally. With a fearless sound that fuses Afropop, R&B, and dancehall, MOLIY is more than a rising artist; she’s a movement. Her recent collaborations with Sean Paul, Chloë Bailey, SadBoi, and Tyla mark her latest strides towards bringing African-rooted sounds to the center of the global mainstream.

    About Tyla

Tyla’s music pushes boundaries, offering an innovative take on pop and R&B that shimmers with the euphoria of amapiano, the music of her native South Africa. Her mega-hit 2023 single, “Water,” catapulted her to global superstardom, earning her the distinction of being the highest-charting African female soloist on the Billboard Hot 100 with the 2x-platinum single, and her first GRAMMY victory, for ‘Best African Music Performance.’

Subsequently, she achieved the same historic chart feat on the Billboard 200 with the release of her self-titled debut studio album, TYLA, which features a plethora of the sounds and styles that make Tyla unique and a wide range of guests, including Tems and Travis Scott. Summer 2024 served as a victory lap for Tyla. She delivered enthralling performances of her debut album on the world’s biggest stages, including the Paris Olympics and the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, and was triumphant at the MTV VMAs, Billboard Music Awards, BET Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards and the South African Music Awards.

TYLA, the album, surpassed the billion-stream mark on Spotify less than three months post-release, and tracks like “Truth Or Dare” and “Art, which have earned global gold certifications, generated millions hundreds-of-millions of streams. Following one of the most successful debut campaigns ever, Tyla added to her new heights with the release of the deluxe edition of her historic debut, TYLA+, featuring the breakout hit, “Push 2 Start,” which garnered Tyla her second Hot 100 entry as a solo artist. Certifications poured in, including multi-platinum honors for Tyla. The GRAMMY-winner shows no signs of slowing down, ushering in a new era with the release of her 2025 EP, WWP, and hinting at new music on the horizon.
