    Prop Carlu Sadie and flank Tiaan Jacobs started for Bordeaux Begles in their 34-19 loss to Clermont at the Stade Marcel-Michelin.

    Former Stormers winger Dillyn Leyds started in La Rochelle’s devastating 60-14 defeat to Toulouse.

    Springbok loose forward Kwagga Smith captained the Shizuoka Blue Revs in a 34-21 loss to Jasper Wiese‘s Urayasu D-Rocks.

    Former Sharks flank Jeandre Labuschagne featured off the bench in the Canon Eagles’ 41-19 defeat to the Toshiba Brave Lupus.

    Springbok centre Lukhanyo Am started for the Sagamihara Dynaboars in a 33-3 loss to the Saitama Panasonic Wild Knights. Locks Friedle Olivier and Ockie Barnard featured for the Wild Knights.
