Emirates anticipates to return to 100% of its global network in the coming days, as regional airspace gradually reopens

Following the partial reopening of airspace across parts of the region, Emirates is currently operating a reduced schedule while steadily increasing the number of flights from Dubai.

    An Emirates spokesperson said:

“Following the partial re-opening of regional airspace, Emirates is operating a reduced flight schedule while working to restore full network operations. The airline anticipates a return to 100% of its network within the coming days, subject to airspace availability and the fulfilment of all operational requirements. Safety, as ever, remains paramount as is our duty of care.”

    Flights gradually increasing

Operations have already begun increasing by day. According to the airline, around 30,000 passengers departed from Dubai yesterday on Emirates flights.

By tomorrow, Friday March 7, Emirates expects to operate 106 daily return flights to 83 destinations, which represents almost 60% of its global route network.

    Strong demand on key routes

Travel demand between the UAE and the UK remains particularly strong. By March 7, Emirates will be operating 11 daily flights across five UK airports, significantly increasing connectivity between the two countries.

In India, Emirates is also expanding operations, with the airline scaling up to 22 daily flights across all nine Indian gateways by the same date.

Meanwhile, in the United States, Emirates continues to operate services to 7 American destinations, maintaining connections between the US and the UAE while schedules gradually return to normal.

    Travellers advised to check bookings

Passengers can now book flights to the destinations currently operating. Emirates says it is prioritising customers who already had existing bookings when allocating seats on these services.

Travellers are advised not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking.

The airline says it will continue monitoring the situation and adjusting operations as needed.

Customers are encouraged to check the latest updates via and the airline’s official social media channels for the most up-to-date flight information.
