Your exclusive access to the Arts Club, we stepped in so you can see what it’s really like
Tucked discreetly into DIFC and hidden in plain sight, The Arts Club is one of those places you’ve heard whispers about, scrolled past on Instagram and wondered how anyone ever gets inside. Well, we’re bringing you in for a sneak peek into one of Dubai’s most talked-about addresses.
Walking through its elegant interiors, you’ll find walls lined with ever-changing exhibitions, many by artists who are members, too. There are plenty of spots designed for mingling and conversation, whether you’d prefer a rooftop terrace, the late lounge, or a one of the seven craft cocktail bars. It’s polished, yes, but never stiff, the kind of place where Dubai’s creative, cultural and impeccably-dressed crowds naturally gravitate.
The Arts Club’s restaurants take you on a globe-trotting journey, from contemporary European dishes to refined Japanese dining. Our evening led us to Rohen, where Japanese precision meets Peruvian flair. The open kitchen pulls you in immediately, but it’s the details that linger – from a refreshing mint amuse-bouche to a cloud-like candy floss dessert that feels delightfully indulgent and child-like at the same time. We also heard that Rohen had a very special guest that same day, a guest none other than His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. And when the night calls for something a little more energetic? The lounge side of Rohen is where the tempo rises.
What makes The Arts Club truly special is its balance. It’s exclusive without feeling untouchable, cultural without being quiet, and vibrant without ever tipping into chaos. From art to cocktails, every corner offers a little surprise. Eventually, we remembered that the outside world still existed. Stepping back into DIFC felt almost jarring, and all we could think about was how we could find our way back through those doors again.
