THE University of Ghana (UG) has signed an agreement with Prime Premier Haven Limited for the construction of a 10,130-bed hostel facility to ease accommodation challenges on campus. So, consider this a homage: a playful, poetic interpretation of the story behind the story, and the magic that keeps calling people back.Londolozi Game Reserve’s legendary logoA Tennis Match, A Toast, A MapIt all started with…

Rhinos once roamed widely across grasslands, savannas and semi-arid regions, writes Miriam Kimvangu. Today their survival depends on a network of protected landscapes, committed conservationists and travellers who choose to visit places where tourism revenue directly supports wildlife protection. Community conservation at Khama Rhino Sanctuary Diego Delso/Wikimedia Commons In northern Botswana, the landscape surrounding the Khama Rhino Sanctuary reflects the impact of long term conservation planning. The sanctuary was established in the early 1990s through collaboration between local communities and conservation organisations. The goal was clear. Italy, Germany and France remain the strongest Schengen visa options for Zimbabwean passport holders in 2026. All three offer high application volumes, comparatively forgiving rejection rates, and submission routes that, while imperfect, are at least navigable. For Zimbabweans specifically, logistics matter. Italy accepts applications through VFS Global in Harare, while Germany and France require travel to Pretoria or Johannesburg. There are no fully operational German or French visa centers inside Zimbabwe. That accessibility gap shapes strategy just as much as statistics. Another key principle often overlooked: the “main destination rule.” Your application must go to the embassy of whichever country…
