The night was all about “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and Rihanna showed up as the final guest of the evening, shutting down the red carpet with a baby bump reveal no one could ignore. Her look was a clever nod to this year’s theme and dress code, “Tailored for You,” with a suit-inspired custom outfit by Marc Jacobs. Trust us,…

His 63-Test journey began at the 2003…

After Paris, the 44-year-old took a break from training. She told Team SA: “Paris was the highest of highs and coming back to reality, when coming home, felt like a very deep low.” The low has passed, and the former Two Oceans Marathon winner is back training and competing. She recently competed in the African…
As consumers, we have more power than we think. Our purchasing decisions can shape the fashion industry’s sustainability and ethics. The first time I discovered the power I have as a consumer was during my service year. While lecturing my students on consumer rights and protection in physical and health education classes, we discussed our rights as consumers. It struck me that I possess significant power in this role. The Power of Customer Choice Every year, fashion brands often face criticism for their contributions to global warming and environmental issues from their production processes. However, this responsibility does not fall…
Enzo Fernandez (Chelsea) and Youri Tielemans (Aston Villa): These two are on a similar trajectory. Really impressive performance: box to box, combative and they did everything they needed to do. Tielemans has been great for Villa and now Villa are trying to work out who fits in around him. Before it was chopping and changing – was it Amadou Onana, was it John McGinn? Now it’s Tielemans and whoever. Fernandez is the same: a £100m price tag, won the World Cup. Everyone was a little bit worried, but he’s chipping in with goal after goal and performance after performance.Kevin Schade…

Damian Willemse’s 100th appearance for the Stormers on Saturday should be extra special with the news that fellow playmaker Manie Libbok is in line for selection. Libbok is “fit and ready to play” in the Vodacom URC round 17 clash against Dragons at Cape Town Stadium, according to Willemse and Stormers attack coach Dawie Snyman. The World Cup and URC-winning flyhalf hurt his knee against Leinster in January, and the 27-year-old’s availability is a boost as John Dobson’s men resume their march to the URC playoffs after a brief hiatus in the competition. Willemse made his Stormers debut at the…
