Akani Simbine added to his clittering CV when he won the first Diamond League men’s 100m race of the season in 9.99 seconds at the Egret Stadium in Xiamen, China. The South African three-time Olympian beat a stacked field including  Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo and forer woprld champion Christian Coleman.
