Six Springboks have been included in RugbyPass’ Top 100 players list for 2025, one of whom sits at No 1.
Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu was named the world’s top player in the annual rankings.
The 23-year-old’s breakthrough year saw him take ownership of the Springbok No 10 jersey, starting the majority of his Tests.
His standout display came in Durban, where a 37-point haul against Argentina – featuring a hat-trick – rewrote the Bok record books. Remarkably, he has achieved a new career mark for tries by a Springbok flyhalf (nine) after just 19 Tests.

Springbok flank Pieter-Steph du Toit is ranked third overall, with hooker and World Rugby Player of the Year Malcolm Marx fourth. Lock RG Snyman and prop Thomas du Toit follow at six and seven respectively, while another second-rower, Eben Etzebeth, is ninth.
Elsewhere in the rankings, 2024 No 1 Antoine Dupont drops to second after an injury-affected year, while All Blacks loose forward Ardie Savea sits fifth. France winger Louis Bielle-Biarrey climbs into eighth, with Scotland flyhalf Finn Russell completing the top 10.
In total, 17 Springboks feature in the Top 100 – more than any other nation.
