The desert won’t be the same

Some sad news coming out for Dubai partiers and it’s that hotspot Terra Solis Dubai has closed down.

It was one of Dubai’s most distinctive nightlife and staycation destinations, and the Tomorrowland-backed desert retreat was known for its music-fuelled weekends, poolside parties and luxe glamping stays.

Since opening, Terra Solis carved out a niche all of its own, part festival, part resort, part after-dark playground offering something refreshingly different from the city’s beach clubs and nightspots. The venue had been open for four years.

The reason that many reports have said is because developers have claimed the site and that it’s actually closing earlier than anticipated.

Before it closed, Terra Solis held its last scheduled event on January 31 2026, where Alesso performed to crowds.

Terra Solis have a statement on their website:

“A big thank you to everyone who helped shape this unique chapter: the dedicated team, the creative partners, and above all the visitors who brought Terra Solis to life. Together, memories were created that will be cherished long after the last note fades.

While this chapter comes to an end, the spirit of Terra Solis continues. Beyond the horizon, the idea of a new destination is taking shape, leaving open the possibility that this journey may continue in the future.”
