    Joseph Dweba and Tyrone Green got on the scoresheet as South Africa’s foreign legion impressed in the French Top 14 and English Premiership.

    Top 14
    Former Stormers winger Dillyn Leyds started for La Rochelle in their 36-19 win against Lyon. Arno Botha wore the Lyon No 8 jersey while lock Janse Roux came off the bench.

    Outside centre Jeremy Ward started for Stade Francais in their 35-12 win against Montpellier at the Stade Jean Bouin in Paris, with utility back Joe Jonas used as a late replacement.

    Six South Africans featured in Montauban’s 29-22 win against Perpignan. Hooker Ru-hann Greyling and loose forward Sikhumbuzo Notshe anchored the Montauban pack, while JT Jackson dotted down from midfield. Flyhalf Tristan Tedder, prop Nemo Roelofse and scrumhalf James Hall ran out for Perpignan.

    Carlu Sadie started at tighthead prop in Bordeaux Begles’ 41-12 win against Bayonne, while lock Tiaan Jacobs and centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg were used as reinforcements.

    English Premiership
    Lock JJ van der Mescht started for the Northampton Saints in their 43-31 win against Saracens at Franklin’s Gardens

    Fullback Tyrone Green‘s fine form continue as he scored a brace of tries for Harlequins in a 52-14 win against the Newcastle Red Bulls. Stephan Lewies started in the second row for Quins, while prop Lhuan de Bruin and ex-Pumas utility back Stefan Coetzee featured for Newcastle.

    Former Stormers hooker Joseph Dweba got on the scoresheet as the Exeter Chiefs claimed a 39-12 win against Gloucester. Prop Ethan Burger came off the bench for the Chiefs, while flanker James Venter started for Gloucester, with prop Dian Bleuler featuring as a replacement.

    Johann van Graan’s Bath battered the Bristol Bears 40-15 at the Rec. Springbok prop Thomas du Toit anchored the scrum, with prop Franz van Wyk providing cover from the bench. Benhard Janse van Rensburg marshalled the midfield for the Bears.

    Five South Africans took to the field as the Leicester Tigers edged the Sale Sharks 36-35 at Welford Road. Former Bulls flanker Hanro Liebenberg started for the Tigers. Lock Ernst van Rhyn captained the Sharks, with Jacques Vermeulen on the flank and Rob du Preez in midfield. Centre Marius Louw and loose forward Dan du Preez appeared as replacements.
