The semi-final lineup for AFCON 2025 is set after a thrilling round of quarter-final clashes that delivered drama, discipline, and big moments. Egypt booked their place with a tense 3–2 win over defending champions Côte d’Ivoire, once again proving their pedigree under pressure. Nigeria followed with a composed 2–0 victory over Algeria, powered by goals from Victor Osimhen and Akor Adams. Senegal edged past Mali 1–0 in a tight West African derby, while hosts Morocco impressed with a confident 2–0 win over Cameroon. These four giants—boasting unmatched pedigree and star power—will battle it out on Wednesday for a spot in the grand finale in Rabat.
