The updated programme includes 28 routes, with several voyages departing from Cape Town and exploring ports along South Africa’s coastline, Mozambique, Madagascar, and the Seychelles, as previously reported by Tourism Update.

From Cape Town to the Seychelles

Between November 22 and December 8, 2027, the Hanseatic Nature, a small luxury expedition ship, will sail from Cape Town to Mahé, Seychelles, over 16 days. Along the way, passengers will visit:

    • Hermanus
    • Mossel Bay
    • Gqeberha
    • Durban
    • Richards Bay
    • Nacala (Mozambique)
    • Mamoudzou (Mayotte)
    • Praslin, Cousin, and Victoria (Seychelles)

Expedition-style experiences using Zodiacs will give guests access to remote beaches and wildlife-rich coastal areas.

Hapag-Lloyd’s MS Europa will also be offering itineraries in Southern African waters during the same period. One standout journey starts in Cape Town, heading to Mauritius via:

    • Mossel Bay
    • Gqeberha
    • Durban
    • Richards Bay
    • Port d’Ehoala (Madagascar)
    • Réunion

This itinerary promises a mix of coastal charm and regional safari excursions, including scenic stretches along South Africa’s Garden Route.

Festive season sailing: From Mauritius to Sri Lanka

For holiday travellers, the MS Europa will sail from Port Louis (Mauritius) to Colombo (Sri Lanka) between December 18, 2027, and January 4, 2028. This festive cruise includes stops in La Réunion, several Seychelles islands, and two Maldives ports.
