Wales bring their summer to a close with a daunting trip to face back-to-back world champions South Africa in Durban.
Steve Tandy’s side came back to earth with a bump last week, having been beaten by Argentina in San Juan. That 35-21 defeat followed the victory over Fiji in their opening Nations Championship match.
However, neither games will likely compare to the 80 minutes facing them against the Springboks this weekend.
The last time the two teams met back in November, Wales were beaten 73-0 by Rassie Erasmus’ side.
It’s hard to see anything other than a one-sided affair at Kings Park, but an unlikely win could move Wales back to ninth in the world rankings for the first time since June 2024.
