Shauwn Mkhize – also known as MaMkhize – has hinted at buying another soccer club, Pirates.

But it’s not the Buccaneers as we all know, but the Eswatini club of the same name.

The potential sale comes after the businesswoman’s Royal AM was expelled from the PSL after it was placed under curatorship.

    MAMKHIZE REVEALS PIRATES INTEREST

Over the weekend, MaMkhize and her family – including son Andile Mpisane – made a surprise appearance at the Somhlolo National Stadium.

Donning black and white, the famous soccer club family arrived in support of Moneni Pirates, who lost to their Eswatini rivals, Royal Leopards, in the Ingwenyama Cup final.

Moneni Pirates was named after Orlando Pirates, as are many Eswatini soccer clubs.

The reality TV star waved to the stadium spectators, who were equally excited to see her.

MaMkhize’s presence piqued the interest of local reporters, who asked if she had any plans to purchase the club.

The wealthy woman coyly responded: “I wouldn’t have come here if I wasn’t looking into something.”

She added that she was “interested”.

    PRESIDENT?

On her IG Stories, MaMhize continued to fuel rumours that a deal was in the pipeline.

Showing love to Pirates, she posted: “You did your best, but luck was not on your side. Mommy Bear still loves you though”. In another Story, the soccer boss partied with her entourage. “President, letting it loose a bit.”

MaMkhize wasn’t done yet. In a post on her IG feed, she teased a captioned an image of herself with the words: “Guess what?”

Her son, Andile Mpisane, also stirred the pot with a Story that read: “New venture.”

    ANDILE MPISANE: ‘NOT DONE YET’

Meanwhile, MaMkhize’s son Andile Mpisane has hinted that his career in professional football was not over.

The Royal AM club boss, who was also a player, recently shared in an Instagram Story: “I am not done yet. My best is yet to come.”

DO YOU THINK MAMKHIZE WILL BUY MANENI PIRATES?
