National convenor of the MKP Youth League, Qiniso Cibane, confirmed Jacob Zuma’s participation and the league’s plans.

“We’re a youth that is disciplined, we’re a youth that is organised, therefore we will be consistent in our outlined programmes that are set to be beneficial for the betterment of the youth,” he said.
Addressing Youth Challenges Head-On
Speaking ahead of the launch, Cibane highlighted several key issues the youth league aims to tackle — including high unemployment, rising crime, and gender-based violence.
The MKP Youth League’s programme, he said, is designed to foster direct engagement with young people and to shape sustainable solutions.
“Such programmes will give us time to interact and engage with our youth and find solutions. We will then have a way forward on how to challenge the current economic injustice we are facing in our country currently,” Cibane stated.

A Rallying Call for Youth Empowerment
Today’s rally is expected to draw large crowds of young supporters and party members. As Jacob Zuma takes the stage, he will not only be launching a youth movement but also signalling the MKP’s strategic direction in mobilising young South Africans.
