According to her, many people in the industry know the challenges producers and actors are facing, but choose to keep quiet

She recalled how she received little or no support from colleagues after she publicly complained that her movie had been removed from several cinemas

Jaiye said none of her colleagues stood by her, even though some of them had faced similar struggles in the industry

The actress accused some Nollywood practitioners of showing only surface-level affection, especially on birthdays, while failing to show up when it truly matters

“So I stopped wishing people happy birthday because I don’t want anyone to wish me one. Please don’t,” she said

Jaiye also spoke about the financial pressure of filmmaking, saying many people do not understand how expensive it is to produce and distribute movies

She said producers spend heavily on films, but still struggle to recover their investments because of distribution challenges and poor support systems
