Kaizer Chiefs are looking to add more players in the next transfer window hoping to compete with Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Amakhosi have struggled for consistency under Nasreddine Nabi, only winning eight of their 22 league matches. Despite bringing in 10 new players, only half of them have impressed this season.

One player Kaizer Chiefs was eyeing last transfer window was Azam FC midfielder Feisal Salum. The 27-year-old Tanzanian recently penned a new deal with his club making it very difficult for Amakhosi to sign him next season.

“We expect Feisal to deliver results because we are paying him a lot of money,” Zacharia told FARPost.

‘However, if he decides to leave, that will be his choice. We are not stopping him from leaving.

Kaizer Chiefs to spend big once again

Azam spokesperson Thabit Zacharia said the club were not looking to sell their most talented player.

“We have no plans to let Feisal go. But if a team makes an offer that meets our expectations, we will not stand in his way. However, as of now, we have not received any offers from any club.”

Kaizer Chiefs are also eyeing Stellenbosch stars Sihle Ntuli and Fawaaz Basadien. According to Soccer Laduma, Ntuli’s contract expires end of the season but the Cape side are not willing to let him go for free.

“We don’t think it will be easy to let Sihle to just leave like that,” a source told the publication.

“He is one of the players that the club really depends on and it’s believed that they are working on renewing his contract. But you know in football anything can happen but let’s wait and see before the end of the season.”

Kaizer Chiefs were linked to Basadien and last year, it was reported that the Soweto giants made an offer for the Bafana Bafana left-back but Stellenbosch turned it down.

    Which players should Chiefs sign?
