Masquerave returns to Louvre Abu Dhabi, bringing Adriatique and The Blaze for a high-energy night under the dome
Masquerave is back. And this time, the museum is swapping hush tones for house beats.
It’s the third edition of Masquerave, and this year feels electric. Forget quiet galleries and hushed footsteps. From 8:30pm, the museum’s park buzzes with a different kind of energy. Think lights, beats and people wearing masks that could rival anything at Carnival or Venice. It’s part art party part after-hours spectacle. No one quite does “immersive” like this.
At the centre of it all is Adriatique, making their first appearance in Abu Dhabi. Their set starts at midnight and runs until 2am. If you know them, you know they build sound like a story, slow and steady then lifted up by rhythm and rush. It’s going to be something worth staying up for.
Before that, from 10pm until midnight, The Blaze hits the decks for their UAE debut. Their DJ set is one of those rare things you tell your friends about later. Warm yet punchy, fluid yet powerful. The kind of music that pulls you onto the dance floor without you even realising.
The whole thing is built around the Louvre’s vibe. A museum is usually a place for quiet reflection. Here, it becomes a place for movement and joy.
