Ghana Premier League champions Medeama Sporting Club have strengthened their ranks with the signing of goalkeeper Monged Abuzaid Salman.
The Mauve and Yellow have tied the Sudanese international safest pair of hands to a two-year contract as they prepare for next season’s domestic top tier and the CAF Champions League.
The 30-year-old joins the two-time Ghana FA Cup winners from Sudanese powerhouse El Merrikh Bentiu.
The strapping goalkeeper has represented Sudan on the international stage and enjoyed successful spells with Sudanese clubs, including Al-Merrikh, where he won domestic honours.
Monged has amassed an impressive career statistics, chalking 18 appearances across the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup across stints with El Merrikh Bentiu and Al-Merrikh SC.
Medeama Sporting Club qualified for next season’s CAF Champions League after defied the odds to clinch their second Ghana Premier League title last season.
Speaking after completing his move to Tarkwa, the Sudan international expressed his excitement at joining the Ghanaian champions.

Monged Abuzaid Salman is expected to integrate into coach Ibrahim Tanko’s squad as they intensify preparations for next season’s busy calendar.
