    ‘One of the strongest years ever’ for law firm office space leasing, new report suggests

    Law firm office space leases are up 12% year over year so far, signaling that 2025 may come in as “one of the strongest years ever,” acccording to a new report by real estate company Cushman & Wakefield.

    Leasing in major markets during the third quarter of 2025 actually slowed from the prior quarter, but smaller markets saw continued steady deals, according to coverage by Law.com of Cushman & Wakefield’s Legal Sector Q3 Leasing Trends report.

    A total of 3.7 million square feet was leased during the third quarter, with the Cushman & Wakefield report saying “2025 is poised to be one of the strongest years on record for legal leasing,” according to Law.com.
