QX Global Group has appointed Vijay Pahuja as group chief executive officer, positioning the technology-enabled knowledge process outsourcing (KPO) company for its next phase of growth as clients increasingly adopt artificial intelligence to transform finance, accounting, recruitment, and business operations.

Pahuja succeeds Pom Chakravarti, who has led the company since 2024. Chakravarti will remain with QX Global as a member of the company’s board and serve as a senior executive focused on strategic client relationships, supporting continuity with key customers.

Backed by Long Ridge Equity Partners, QX Global provides AI-powered finance, accounting, recruitment, and industry-specific business services to mid-market organizations across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Founded in 2003, the company employs more than 3,000 professionals across India, the U.K., and the Americas.

Pahuja brings more than 25 years of experience building and scaling global business services organizations. He joins QX from Sutherland Global Services, where he led multiple business verticals across financial services and insurance, expanding the company’s insurance practice while introducing agentic AI capabilities into service delivery. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions at WNS, Cognizant, and IBM, overseeing global operations and driving revenue growth across financial services, insurance, and enterprise technology businesses.

“Vijay brings exactly the combination QX needs to take QX into its next chapter: commercial depth, operational discipline, and a clear-eyed view of how AI will reshape knowledge services,” said Abid Neemuchwala, chairman of QX Global Group and former chief executive officer of Wipro.

Under Pahuja’s leadership, the company plans to build on its existing AI capabilities, which include an acceleration lab, agentic AI architecture, and proprietary technology platforms already deployed in customer environments. The strategy centers on combining AI-driven automation with human expertise to improve productivity, expand client capacity, and generate measurable business outcomes without proportional increases in operating costs.

“QX has built a genuine leadership position serving the mid-market—the businesses that power the global economy—through long-standing client relationships and a team with real expertise across finance, accounting, recruitment and complex knowledge services,” Pahuja said. “My focus is to take that foundation further: go deeper into the sectors we know, put AI-led transformation into the hands of our people, and deliver outcomes our clients can measure in their growth, their margins, and their capacity to compete.”

The appointment also reflects Long Ridge Equity Partners’ strategy of investing in technology-enabled business services platforms with opportunities for AI-driven expansion.

“QX has a strong foundation—outstanding delivery culture, long-standing client relationships, and a talented delivery team,” said Angad Singh, partner at Long Ridge Equity Partners. “Vijay’s appointment signals our intent to accelerate the expansion of the platform by investing in technologies that make the services better, and scaling into categories where QX has the right to lead.”

QX Global specializes in serving mid-market businesses through finance and accounting outsourcing, recruitment process outsourcing, and industry-specific knowledge services. The company has established leading positions in the accounting, real estate, and staffing sectors while expanding into insurance, hospitality, consumer packaged goods, retail, and manufacturing. Through its consulting subsidiary, Chazey Partners, QX also provides business transformation, shared services, and intelligent automation advisory services as it continues to broaden its AI-enabled service offerings.
