    In this short but satisfying wildlife encounter, a bold rhino calf—backed up by its watchful mother—approaches a much larger elephant as captured by Game Ranger Nic Nel of Mala Mala Game Reserve.

    Despite the size difference, the tiny rhino holds its ground with surprising confidence.

    The elephant hesitates, assesses the scene, and ultimately decides to back off, leaving the little rhino victorious in this unexpected standoff.
