University Games Team SA started the fourth day of competition at the Student Games in Germany with three medals won in the pool. Pieter Coetze took the 100m backstroke gold, Lara van Niekerk earned silver in the 50m breaststroke and the mixed 4x100m medley relay squad claimed bronze.
On Sunday the squad are in action in three sports.
