    Former members of the South African Tourism (SA Tourism) board are pushing back after their sudden disbandment. They have filed papers in the High Court, challenging the decision by Tourism Minister Patricia de Lille to dissolve the board.

    De Lille Defends Her Decision in Parliament

    Minister Patricia de Lille stood firm on her decision when addressing Parliament. She argued that the board’s meeting on 1 August was “unlawful”, and this irregularity formed part of the basis for its dissolution.
