The action is heating up in the Telkom Netball Championship as teams vie for top honours, with the competition approaching its close on day three of the Telkom Netball Championship at Hoërskool DF Malan and Laerskool Totius in Bellville, Cape Town on Wednesday, 9 July 2025.
The event, taking place at Hoërskool DF Malan and Laerskool Totius in Bellville, Cape Town, from 7-11 July 2025, has featured some outstanding performances from the young stars of netball.
The race for the log leaders is a tight affair on the U19A log as Johannesburg A and Tshwane A are both unbeaten in that division and are vying for the top prize.
The team from Jozi led the standings thanks to a superior goal difference as they completed a 50 – 21 win over Zululand. The Cape Winelands find themselves retaining third place after losing two of their six matches.

The Pretoria side also picked up a well-deserved 39 – 28 victory over Mangaung. Meanwhile, Dr KK A is fourth having only won two matches. It’s going to be an uphill battle for Zululand and Mangaung as the team from KwaZulu-Natal has only recorded one victory and the side from Bloemfontein is still searching for their first win.
In the U18A division, the Cheetahs remain unbeaten and hold onto the top spot as they sealed another 45-12 victory over Bakwena. Ndlovu suffered a 44 – 38 defeat to the Sharks as the team from Durban is now second.
