Turkmenistan and Ghana held political consultations

Political consultations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Ghana were held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, reportsthe press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

The Turkmen side was represented by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Berdyniyaz Myatiev, and the Ghanaian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Kwaku Ampratwum Sarpong.

The meeting participants spoke in favor of intensifying cooperation in the political, trade, economic and humanitarian spheres of mutual interest.

Fruitful interaction between the two countries within the framework of multilateral diplomacy, in particular at the UN, was noted.

The possibilities of expanding trade and economic relations between Turkmenistan and Ghana, cooperation in the field of industry and agriculture were discussed.
