Arab Finance: U Consumer Finance (Valu) has partnered with Wego, the MNEA’s largest online travel marketplace, to offer flexible payment solutions for Egyptian travelers, according to a press release.
The collaboration integrates Wego’s travel booking platform with Valu’s fintech services to deliver a more seamless and flexible travel booking experience. Customers will be able to search and compare flights from hundreds of airlines and travel providers on Wego before paying through installment plans of up to 60 months offered by Valu.
Both entities will focus on removing traditional payment barriers for a diverse target audience, including young professionals, families, and digital-first consumers.
The partnership comes as demand for flexible payment options continues to grow in Egypt, particularly for higher-value purchases such as travel. The integration is expected to provide consumers with greater flexibility in managing travel expenses while supporting the broader adoption of digital financial services.

Earlier this month, Valu launched a new loyalty program featuring instant cashback for payments in Egypt. It replaces traditional point-accumulation systems by applying cashback to a user’s account immediately after a transaction is completed, eliminating delayed settlement periods.
