And the Dubai Burger Championship crown goes to…

From international ones to local favourites, Dubai’s burger scene just got a serious upgrade. Here’s who took home the crown.

The Dubai Burger Championship ran from January 8 to 11, 2026, bringing some of the world’s most creative, juicy, and drool-worthy burgers right to Dubai’s Media City Ampitheatre. This four-day festival of flavour gathered the best local and international burger makers under one roof to compete and the public’s taste buds were the real winners.

Visitors had the chance to try everything from sustainable gourmet creations to over-the-top viral sensations, all in one place. With live cooking demos, tasting stations, and interactive public voting, the event was a true celebration of burger culture, and a must-visit for anyone who loves a great bite.

Now that the smoke has cleared and the buns have been devoured, the results are in. After days of live competition, public voting, and international jury judging, these burgers really stood out:

    • Best Locally-Sourced Sustainable Burger: The Meat Avenue
    • Most Original Burger: Desert Truffle Burger by SALT
    • Best UAE Burger: Jelapeño Cheese Smash by Hella Good
    • 3rd Place Overall: The Same Old Blues by Holy Burgercan
    • 2nd Place Overall: Loser by Hundred Burgers
    • Overall Winner: Crispy Dubai by La Birra Bar

    Who participated?

    International Brands:

    • Hundred Burgers (Spain)
    • Holy Burger (Brazil)
    • Rekas Burgers (Sweden)
    • La Birra Bar (Argentina)
    • Burger & Beyond (UK)

    UAE-Based Brands:

    • Lokal Buns Burger

    • MUST
    • High Joint
    • Salt
    • Pickl
    • G.O.A.T.

    • Hella.Gd

Whether you went and tried them all, or just wished you could, one thing’s for sure, Dubai is officially a burger capital. And if this was just the first one, burger fans have plenty more tasty surprises to look forward to.
