The Rage brings Tokyo flair, street food and winter entertainment to Umm Al Emarat Park this January

Umm Al Emarat Park knows how to throw a crowd-pleaser. The Rage returns to Umm Al Emarat Park for its fourth year from January 7 to 11.  This year, the festival borrows its energy from Tokyo. The theme, We Meet in Tokyo, taps into the city’s creativity and street culture and reshapes it for Abu Dhabi, with five evenings of food, fashion, entertainment and hands-on activities. The gates open at 4pm and the park stays lively until 11pm.

More than 100 retail, food and entertainment vendors spread across the park. A dedicated food and beverage zone brings together food trucks, casual seating, games and live performances, making it easy to graze your way through the evening. Nearby, the retail zone showcases fashion, perfumes, jewellery and footwear in a setting that feels curated but not fussy.

Many of the festival favourites make a return. The Park Market runs on Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 10pm, alongside live music, puppet shows and roaming mascots. Families can move between arts and crafts, plantation activities, skill games and a football competition, while an open reading challenge adds a quieter moment to the buzz. LED stilt walkers, dancing characters and interactive games keep the pace going across the park.

Film lovers can head to Cinema at the Park on Friday and Saturday evenings for family friendly and adventure films. Sundays are reserved for Cinematic Sundays, with screenings from 6pm in collaboration with Image Nation.

    The Details:

    Location: Umm Al Emarat Park

    Time: 4pm to 11pm

Cost: Dhs70 per person, with an additional Dhs10 park entry fee payable at the gate
