Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi has been re-elected unopposed as Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association (ANSFA) at the association’s board election held on Monday in Awka
The former Super Eagles defender secured a unanimous 23 votes from the 23 accredited delegates, earning another term at the helm of football administration in Anambra State

“I’m honoured by the confidence reposed in me. Together, we will continue working to develop football in Anambra State and create more opportunities for our young talents,” Iloenyosi said
The election took place at East End Hotel, Awka, where members of the Anambra football family gathered to elect the leadership of the state football association
Iloenyosi’s re-election follows a tenure marked by efforts to strengthen grassroots football, improve coaching education and promote collaboration with football stakeholders across the state
“This victory belongs to everyone who believes in the progress of football in Anambra. Our work continues, and we remain committed to taking the game to greater heights,” he added
With a fresh mandate secured, Iloenyosi is expected to continue driving initiatives aimed at developing football across the state while working closely with the Nigeria Football Federation and other stakeholders to advance the sport
