The Football Association is set to commence Module II of the FIFA/CAF All-Female Licence C Coaching Course, with all thirty (30) participants expected to report to the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram on Sunday, July 5, 2026

The second phase of the programme follows the successful completion of Module I, during which participants demonstrated impressive commitment and enthusiasm throughout both the theoretical and practical sessions

In line with the course requirements, participants subsequently undertook a mandatory one-month internship with clubs of their choice. Throughout the attachment, GFA instructors closely monitored and assessed their progress, providing valuable guidance and evaluating the practical application of the knowledge acquired during the first module

Module II will run from Monday, July 6 to Wednesday, July 15, 2026, featuring an intensive blend of classroom instruction and on-field practical sessions designed to further enhance the participants’ coaching knowledge, leadership skills and technical competencies

At the conclusion of the ten-day programme, participants will undergo both theoretical examinations and practical assessments. Those who successfully meet the required standards will be awarded the CAF Licence C Coaching Diploma, enabling them to pursue professional football coaching opportunities in accordance with CAF coaching regulations

The FIFA-funded initiative underscores the shared commitment of FIFA, CAF and the Ghana Football Association to strengthening the technical capacity of women in football and expanding opportunities for female coaches across the country

The programme forms part of the GFA’s broader strategy to develop qualified female coaches, promote gender inclusion in football and build a sustainable pathway for the continued growth of the women’s game in Ghana

The Football Association remains committed to creating more opportunities for women through similar capacity-building initiatives in the years ahead as it continues to invest in the long-term development and elevation of women’s football
