    Taman Safari Indonesia showcasing nature tourism

    Mumbai: Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) is showcasing its scenic landscapes, open range land and marine wildlife safari destinations – besides its famed Komodo Dragons – during press meets in Mumbai and Delhi to woo Indian tourists.

    “TSI has saved, rehabilitated and released thousands of animals back into the wild – making it a leading global conservation organization organization for Indonesia’s endemic wildlife and endangered species,” Alexander Zulkarnain, Chief Marketing Officer, TSA said here recently while noting that “This meet timing reflects a broader surge in Indian travel to Indonesia with arrivals rising to 734,490 in 2025 from 606,439 in 2023.”

    “PM Modi’s July 2026 visit to Indonesia is building up renewed momentum on India tourists visit here that is expected to reach 750,000 to 829,000 arrivals,” he said, adding “Indonesia’s six safari locations are home to 22,000 animals across 673 species.”

    He said one of the unique sites is the Marine Safari Bali which, besides hosting Indonesia’s ‘first’ underwater theater restaurant, also comprises rainforest, river, estuary and open ocean ecosystem holding over 300 fish species and marine mammals including penguins, besides land animals and bird habitats.

    Taman Safari Bali offerings also highlight 4,424 animals of 275 Indian, Indonesian and African wildlife species, while Taman Safari Bogor is home to over 8,700 animals of 400 species including giant Pandas.

    “TSI is collaborating with Indian travel operators, wedding and event organisers to curate tailored safari circuits and multigenerational holiday packages,” he added.
