Beyond commemorating the club’s latest league triumph, the campaign transforms everyday purchases into an opportunity for supporters to contribute to one of Kenya’s most successful football clubs

Record FKF Premier League champions Gor Mahia have unveiled a fan-driven initiative that will allow supporters to play a direct role in financing the club’s CAF Champions League campaign.

The initiative, dubbed Wallcover K’Ogalo Edition, was launched in partnership with sponsors Kansai Plascon Kenya and forms part of the club’s long-term strategy to strengthen its financial sustainability as it seeks to make a bigger impact on the continental stage.

Gor Mahia, who reclaimed the FKF Premier League title last season, will represent Kenya in this season’s CAF Champions League, with the preliminary round set to kick off in September.

Under the initiative, Kansai Plascon Kenya will channel a percentage of proceeds from every sale of the limited-edition Wallcover K’Ogalo Edition towards supporting the club’s participation in the continental competition.

The campaign allows supporters to contribute directly to Gor Mahia’s Champions League journey through their purchases, creating a new model of fan engagement that extends beyond traditional sponsorship.

The limited-edition Plascon Trade Wall Cover Emulsion, K’Ogalo Edition, was created to celebrate Gor Mahia’s 2025/26 FKF Premier League title triumph.

Speaking during the launch, Kansai Plascon Kenya Managing Director Enami Kota said the partnership goes beyond branding and is aimed at creating a lasting impact on Kenyan football.

“Our partnership with Gor Mahia has always been about more than sponsorship. It is about investing in a legacy that inspires millions of Kenyans.

This initiative allows supporters to celebrate the club’s achievements while directly contributing towards its future as the team prepares to fly the Kenyan flag in the CAF Champions League.

We believe corporate partnerships should create meaningful impact beyond branding,” said Kota.

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachierhailed the initiative as an example of the kind of partnerships modern football clubs need to remain competitive.

“This partnership reflects what modern football requires: long-term collaboration built on shared ambition.

Kansai Plascon has stood with us as partners, and this latest initiative demonstrates a genuine commitment to supporting the club beyond the football pitch.

Every supporter who purchases the K’Ogalo Edition becomes part of our journey as we prepare to compete on the continental stage,” said Rachier.

The collector’s edition packaging features Gor Mahia’s iconic green colours, championship-inspired graphics, and visual elements celebrating the club’s rich history, with the campaign built around the theme, “Champions on the Pitch. Champions in Every Home.”

Meanwhile, Gor Mahia are currently in Kigali, Rwanda, where they are preparing for the 2026 CECAFA Kagame Cup, which runs from Friday, 24 July to Friday, 7 August.

K’Ogalo has been drawn in Group A alongside hosts APR, Uganda’s Vipers SC, and Djibouti’s Garde Républicaine as they continue their preparations for the upcoming CAF Champions League campaign.
