Sponsored: Good news for UAE football fans
Some news coming out of the football industry and that is ADNOC and the UAE Pro League have renews their title sponsorship for three more seasons. This partnership is a vital one for football in the UAE as it continues to support the growth of football in the country, bringing fans, clubs and communities together over sport.
The extended partnership agreement was announced during Al Ain’s final league match against Dibba at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium before Al Ain was crowned champion of the ADNOC Pro League for the 2025-26 season. The renewal was signed by Saif Al Falahi, Acting Director, People, National Identity & Business Support, ADNOC, and Musab Al Marzouqi UAE Pro League’s CEO.
ADNOC’s first title partnership with the UAE Pro League was first announced ahead of the 2021-22 season when the national football league was renamed the ADNOC Pro League.
Saif Al Falahi said: “We’re excited to renew our partnership with the UAE Pro League until 2029. Sport brings communities together and this partnership will build on ADNOC’s long-standing commitment to making a positive social impact and building on our role as a reliable provider of energy to the world.”
What’s next for the partnership?
ADNOC will support initiatives that bring football closer to communities across the UAE, from youth participation and grassroots development to fan engagement and activations that promote sport, wellbeing and active lifestyles.
The ADNOC Pro League is just one example of ADNOC’s long-running support for sport in the UAE, including huge events such as the ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon and the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, to name just a few.
