Nigerian recording artist Franklin Chinonso Diala, popularly known as FrankCee, has built a decade-long career spanning Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
He blends Afrobeat, Afropop and contemporary African sounds to earn recognition from audiences and industry stakeholders.
FrankCee’s international profile grew in 2015 when he signed a recording deal with UK-based label Bashrobeat Limited.
The agreement led to a promotional tour of the United Kingdom, during which he pushed his single, Marry Me, introducing his music to UK audiences for the first time.
While in the UK, he partnered with Brightknights Media and Events and Blacknights Entertainment, both music promotion and live entertainment outfits, deepening his presence within Britain’s African entertainment scene.
On the domestic front, FrankCee has collaborated with Nigerian rapper Magnito, working alongside established names in the country’s music industry.
His output has earned him back-to-back honours at the Abuja Entertainment and Meritorious Awards (ABEMA).
He won the Most Promising Artist award in 2022, before clinching the Best Music Artist in Abuja award at the 2025 edition.
With a portfolio that now spans both markets, FrankCee is positioning himself among the promising voices in contemporary African music.
