Vodacom Group CEO Shameel Joosub Vodacom Group has announced what it has described as a “pivotal” agreement with Elon Musk’s Starlink to provide internet access to businesses across Africa. Seacom group chief digital officer Prenesh Padayachee Seacom is targeting the fourth quarter of 2026 to reach financial close on its massive planned subsea broadband cable system that will connect Africa with Europe and Asia.
