Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Migeul Timm has penned an emotional tribute to the Buccaneers following his departure. The day’s track and field programme in Swakopmund ended controversially on Wednesday. Although De Villiers Lamprecht crossed the line marginally behind the winner of the boys 800m, he was pushed and elbowed for extended periods in the last 50 metres.   A lengthy inquiry into the result ensued, but Lamprecht and Andrew van Wyk, who crossed the line in third, were not upgraded and the Zimbabwean athlete who crossed the line first, was deemed the gold medallist.
