Resumption of operations has begun to resume in Dubai airports

Dubai Airports has confirmed that a limited resumption of operations will begin later today, Monday March 2, at both of the city’s airports: Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC).

Only a small number of flights will be permitted to operate initially, as authorities continue to carefully manage the situation.

While this marks a positive step forward, schedules remain subject to change.

Don’t go to Dubai airports unless your airline contacts you

Travellers are strongly advised not to proceed to DXB or DWC unless they have been contacted directly by their airline with a confirmed departure time.

Passengers should continue to check directly with their airline for the latest updates on flight status and timings, as changes may occur at short notice. Dubai Airports said it is working closely with relevant authorities and that its focus remains on maintaining the highest standards of operational safety, security and the wellbeing of passengers and staff.
