Springboks veteran and record holder Eben Etzebeth takes home a towering salary as tall as he is.

Etzebeth is already the most capped Springboks player of all time.

Let’s take a look at how much the towering Bok veteran earns.

SPRINGBOK SALARIES: SIYA KOLISI – ICONIC CAPTAINS EARNINGS REVEALED!

TOWERING BOK LOCK STACKING UP BIG MONEY AT THE SHARKS

As reported in The South African, Etzebeth is one of the highest-paid Springboks.

Furthermore, the Bok enforcer earns over R18 million annually, according to Mywage.co.za. So, his equates to monthly earnings of over R1.5 million.

    Here are his reported earnings.

    • Annual: R18 169 141,00
    • Monthly: R1 514 095,08
    • Weekly: R349 406,56
    • Daily: R69 881,31

Therefore, the iconic “Elizabedi” is one of the top earning players in SA Rugby and at the Sharks. Rightfully so, given his priceless influence and impact both on and off the pitch.

The towering lock recently overtook Victor Matfield as the most capped Springboks player of all time.

Meaning, he will be extending this record with every test he plays in the green and gold. Therefore, Etzebeth is well poised to become the first and only ever Springbok to play for South Africa 150 times. Touch wood, if he remains injury free, he will likely achieve this feat in or by the 2027 Rugby World Cup.

ETZEBETH’S EARNINGS UP THERE WITH KOLISI’S

The South African recently revealed Springboks captain Siya Kolisi’s staggering salary.

So, Kolisi and Etzebeths salaries are almost as close as their friendship! Jokes aside, both men are worth their weight in gold for their contributions to the green and gold jersey.

However, neither Bok has the honour of being the highest-paid Springboks player. Stay tuned to find out how much other Boks earn as well as who the highest-paid player is.

DO YOU THINK THE MOST CAPPED SPRINGBOK PLAYER OF ALL-TIME, EBEN ETZEBETH SHOULD BE PAID MORE OR LESS?
