    Dubai’s favourite family destination took a pause due to the severe weather, but they will be reopening their doors

    After multiple severe weather warnings yesterday, several popular outdoor attractions including Global Village, temporarily closed to ensure the safety of visitors and staff. With the storm now passed and sunshine returning across parts of the city, your outdoor attraction weekend plans are officially back on.

    Taking to their official Instagram, Global Village posted a story stating, ”Enjoy this amazing day at Global Village. We welcome you today from 4pm’

    Expo City Dubai – Winter City

    Expo City Dubai also announced their reopening through an Instagram Story post. It read, ‘A North Pole cloud floated into Al Wasl, but our eleves are still waiting to welcome you! Winter City is open today with loads of fun for everyone!’

    Expo City advised its guests to wear rain boots and to ‘enjoy the puddles!’

    Hatta Wadi Hub

    The other outdoor attraction in Dubai that has announced its closure due to the weather is Hatta Wadi Hub. However, if thrill seekers were looking forward to ending their week here, it looks like plans will have to be rescheduled.

    Hatta Wadi Hub posted an updated stating, ‘All DSF x Hatta Wadi Hub activities are cancelled on December 19, due to weather forecast.’

    The post added, ”Safety first! We look forward to welcoming you back for a fun-filled experience as soon as the skies clear. Stay tuned for more updates.’
