The change is set to make getting around the emirate easier for residents and visitors

There’s a public holiday in Abu Dhabi on Monday, June 15, on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, with work resuming the following day, on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

And with nearly every public holiday is the announcement of free parking and toll fees. Abu Dhabi-based smart mobility company Q Mobility just issued the announcement via their official social media channel on X.

The update is set to ease movement across the emirate as Eid Al Adha brings one of the busiest travel rushes of the year.
