You can bet that this Kaizer Chiefs squad has not heard this one before.

JUNIOR KHANYE SLAMS KAIZER CHIEFS SQUAD

Despite Sunday’s thrilling 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in the Nedbank Cup semifinals, Khanye has said Amakhosi hardly have enough quality players. “I think Kaizer Chiefs have got average players,” said Khanye on iDiski TV.

“Their players are not good enough, with the exception of Gaston Sirino. That’s why Golden Arrows can bully them. That’s why TS Galaxy had no fear of Kaizer Chiefs. Every club believes they can beat them.

    TEKO MODISE ON NASREDDINE NABI

Meanwhile, former Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns star Teko Modise has expressed belief in coach Nabi.

“I think coach Nabi does deserve a chance, he does deserve more time,” Modise told iDiski Times.

“Also, from a person like me who is a fan of football, I think maybe if he can get an opportunity to sign a couple of players that he needs, so that these players can adjust to the demands he wants and the style of play he wants. Because he still has most of the players that have played for Kaizer Chiefs last season, that’s the same Kaizer Chiefs that were struggling last season.

“You can change as many coaches as you want, but as long as the players are the same and are not responding to the coach’s instructions or ideology, it’s always going to be very difficult. I think he does deserve a chance, because he might be the answer because not every coach, especially in South African football became successful in the first season.

“So, I think the team can invest in him,” Modise concluded.
