The Madlanga Commission will reconvene its public hearings on October 13, following a short pause. Spokesperson Jeremy Michaels confirmed that the Commission is on break from October 6 to 10, as Commissioner Sesi Baloyi is attending to her duties with the Judicial Service Commission.
Michaels explained that proceedings were initially meant to continue until October 3, but Justice Mbuyiseli Madlanga adjourned the hearings when Lieutenant General Dumisani Khumalo was unable to testify due to a sudden illness.
