Former Mamelodi Sundowns chief scout Floyd Mogale has ruled out any pressure to turn around the fortunes of Eswatini’s Mbabane Highlanders AM FCafter joining them as head coach on Tuesday.

Mogale ready for Mbabane Highlanders AM challenge
In an interview with local Eswatini media on Tuesday, Mogale said he wants to win the MTN Premier League and compete in the CAF Champions League while ruling out pressure.
“As a coach, you are faced with pressure,” he told Uneswa FM Sports.
“It is always a pleasure to be a coach. We put pressure on ourselves. I am used to it. I worked for Sundowns for the past 15 years, so I am used to pressure. There is so much pressure at Sundowns to win the league and to win the Champions League, so for me it is no big deal.”

Apart from working as Sundowns scout in 2016, Mogale boasts an extensive coaching experience in the PSL including managing Black Leopards FC and Royal AM, a PSL club that current Highlanders AM FC president Shauwn Mkhize used to own.
He also served as an assistant coach at Chippa United and Free State Stars.
On the other hand, Shongwe was until recently working as Ubombo Sugar FC deputy coach. His previous coaching stints extend to other MTN Premier League teams Manzini Sundowns, Moneni Pirates, Manzini Wanderers, and Vovovo FC (now defunct).
Mogale is the substantive replacement for Sly Mosala who parted company with the Black Bulls last Wednesday after a relatively successful five-month spell.
